ABOUT US

A community standing strong together

Established in 1982, the Greeley Police Officer Association (GPOA) is dedicated to serving and supporting the officers who protect our community every day. We advocate for fair pay, benefits, and resources that ensure the wellbeing and success of our officers.

Events

Our commitment extends beyond the station. Through initiatives like the “Battle of the Badges” arm wrestling tournament, the “Bags for Hope” cornhole fundraiser, and various other community events, we actively contribute to local non-profits and foster stronger community ties.

Benefits

The GPOA also provides unparalleled support to its members, including comprehensive legal defense through trusted partnerships, access to supplemental insurance plans, and opportunities for off-duty overtime to enhance financial stability. We are proud to empower our officers with the tools and protection they need, whether in times of crisis or in their daily lives.

To advocate for the well-being of Greeley’s police officers by negotiating strong contracts, providing 24/7 legal defense, supporting officers during investigations, and offering access to exclusive insurance, financial, and retirement benefits. Whether it’s on duty, off duty, or in retirement—GPOA is committed to protecting those who protect others.

Our Promise

At GPOA, we believe in empowering those who serve and building a safer, stronger community together. Every step we take reflects our dedication to supporting our officers and the city we proudly protect.
